Street Art by David Walker; London, England

Red pumps under abstract colours
I dance alone inside my rainbow
I’m comfortable that way

this is my preservation
– if you knew my skin to be yellow
the colour black or light chocolate
would your agenda be the same
– or would you walk on by

but if I am of every colour – would you shun
call me names? – or just say I am beautiful?

two different minds… One photo, two poems… a challenge among friends – without peeking!
